Helping to build the future of the younger generations by promoting scientific learning in schools: this is the aim of an initiative just launched by Leonardo within STEMLab as part of a new PCTO programme (Percorso per le Competenze Trasversali e l’Orientamento – Pathway for Transversal Skills and Orientation) entitled “In volo con Leonardo” – In flight with Leonardo.
PCTOs, pathways launched by the Ministry of Education for all students in their last three years of secondary school (replacing the former “alternanza scuola lavoro” – school-work alternation – programmes), play a key role in furthering young people’s education at school by building into the curriculum specific training that is already oriented towards future work activities.
